Superstars Performing Arts would like to take the opportunity to welcome all new and returning Superstars and say "THANK YOU" for choosing us. The Superstars was founded by Jan Stivers in 1981 and is now under the direction of longtime staff members Jay Peterson, Dawn Reed, and Jamie Stringer. We pride ourselves on our creating a positive environment for our students and their families and are eager to begin another season.

We encourage clients to check our website frequently for breaking news and studio information. In addition to the website, a quarterly newsletter will be sent out via email and posted at the studios. Please take time to read these newsletters as they contain details for upcoming events, any updates, and other important information. If you do not already receive our Superstars announcement emails, please be sure to register your email at the front desk.

At registration, you received a copy of our important dates calendar and general fees and policies. We encourage clients to read this information carefully as it includes important events for the year and policies concerning drop/change of classes, payment plans, and additional equipment charges. This information is will also available on the website soon!

COSTIME MEASURING WEEK
Based on client feedback, we've scheduled a costumer measuring week for our non-competition classes. All classes will be measured for recital costumes the week of November 7th through November 11th. (If necessary, some of our larger classes will carry over to the week of November 14th ) We encourage students to wear form fitting clothes during costume measuring week to ensure accurate measurements.

CHRISTMAS SHOW 2011
The Christmas show is scheduled for Saturday, December 17th at the Norwalk High School Auditorium. Additional details and a list of classes participating in the Christmas show will be communicated towards the end of October.

RECITAL PICTURES
Recital pictures are set for Saturday, April 21st for the non-competition classes, Cheer competition team, Hip Hop competition team, and competition Tumbling team. The Dance and Baton competition team pictures will be taken on Friday, April 20th.

RECITALS 2012
This year's recitals will be Saturday, June 2nd and Sunday, June 3rd at the Norwalk High School auditorium. Rehearsal for all non-competition classes will be held on Friday, June 1st, also at the Norwalk High School auditorium. Recital break outs and recital times will be posted closer to the recital date. The music school recital date is Sunday, March 4th at the Norwalk Christian church.

WINTER & SPRING BREAKS
There are no classes Wednesday, December 21st through Tuesday, January 3rd for winter break. Classes resume on Wednesday, January 4th. The studio tries to align with the Norwalk Community School calendar, therefore no classes will be held the week of March 19th for Spring Break.
